It is with the greatest of regret that we have to inform you of the death of John Carland, Carnlough and formerly of Hugo Street, Belfast. John passed away peacefully in hospital on 8th September, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, may he rest in peace.

Beloved partner of Jacqueline, devoted father of Jack, Ruairí and Gabrielle, adored son of the late Gerry and Vera, beloved brother of Paul, Chris, Colm, Toni, Brian, Claire, Brenda, Liam, Helen and Kevin.

John will repose at his brother Kevin’s home, those friends wishing to pay their respects are welcome on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th September between 4pm and 9pm.

John’s funeral will leave his brother’s residence on Wednesday to arrive at St. John The Evangelist Church, 51 Bay Road, Carnlough, Ballymena, Co. Antrim. BT44 0HJ, for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing partner, daughter, sons, brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, entire family circle and his numerous friends.
