It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of John Carlin, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 21st May 2025. Late of 312 Carnhill and formerly of Bridge Street. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Mary. Devoted father of Maureen and Paul. Dearest father-in-law of James and Carol. Loving granda of Clare, Christopher, James, Jack, Niamh, Clodagh and Anna. Precious great-granda of Aoibhi . A much loved brother of Mary and the late Anna, Briege, Neil and Patsy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.

John’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 312 Carnhill, from 6pm this evening, Wednesday 21st May. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 23rd May at 10:50am for 11:30am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
