CARMICHAEL, Joseph Jenkins (Joe) (Ex UDR 1/9th C.S.M.) called home 9th August 2026 peacefully at his home McKeen’s Green, Carrickfergus with his loving family around his bedside.

Dearly loved husband of June. Loving and devoted dad of Carol & Julie, father-in-law to Stuart. Proud Granda of Emma, Jack, Erin & Jessica and great-granda of Luca.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Joe’s life will be held in St Nicholas’ Church of Ireland, Carrickfergus on Wednesday 12th August 2026 at 2.00 p.m. followed by interment in Victoria Cemetery.

Joe will be lovingly remembered by his entire family circle, friends and comrades.
