The family of the late John Carr would like to thank all of those who helped support our brother John and our family during his illness.
Sincere thanks to everyone who sent messages of prayer and sympathy, sent Mass Offerings, attended John’s Wake or Funeral, and made a donation to the Southern Area Hospice.
To the doctors and staff from the Southern Area Hospice, we are deeply grateful for your dedication and kindness, for the medical care and emotional support shown to all of us during John’s last few weeks.
Thank you to Father Brendan Carr for his Spiritual support and comfort while he attended John in the Hospice and the beautiful Requiem Mass.
A special thanks to McAnulty Funeral Directors for their guidance and professionalism in conducting the Funeral Arrangements and for the dignity and respect shown to John.

John’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 26th January in St. Peter’s Parish Church, Warrenpoint at 11:30am.
Let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

CARR John (Warrenpoint) 26th December 2024, peacefully at Southern Area Hospice.

John James, beloved son of Carmel and the late Philly, loving brother of Mary (Bobby), Tony (Pamela), Bromwyn (Greg), Ciaran and Cecelia (David), much-loved nephew of Myrtle and Thelma and a cherished uncle of Colette, Ciara, Caolan, Johnny, Dylan, Ellen and Erín. Late of 8, Rathgannon, Warrenpoint. May his soul rest in peace.

John’s remains will repose at his home on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm – 9pm on both days. Removal on Monday arriving at St. Peter’s Church, Warrenpoint for 10.30am Requiem Mass followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. House private on morning of Funeral please.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, extended family circle and friends.
