CASSIDY (née Cottingham) Rita, (Ballycastle and formerly Scotland), died 8th December 2024, peacefully in Causeway Hospital, beloved wife of the late Edward and much loved mother of the late Michael, Maryann & Edmund, a devoted grandmother of Gemma, Ryan, Beth, Michael, & Jessica, a great-grandmother of Kaitlyn, and mother-in-law of Eileen, late of 1 Strand Cottages, Ballycastle.

Rita will be reposing in Dallat’s funeral home (65 Market St, Ballycastle, BT54 6DS) from Tuesday 10th December until Thursday 19th December. All callers welcome.

Rita’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 19th December, in St. Patrick’s & St. Brigid’s Church, Ballycastle at 10:00am. Requiem mass can be viewed live.

Deeply regretted by her loving grandchildren, great- granddaughter, friends, and entire family circle.
