The family of the late Mary Cassidy would like to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Thank you to everyone who called at her home, telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, text messages, emails, and all who sympathised via social media platforms. A special thanks to neighbours and friends who generously helped with sandwiches and dinners.

We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff from Draperstown Surgery who provided advice, help and care all through Mums illness. Our sincere thanks to the fantastic team of carers who looked after mum with unfailing kindness and dedication every day. We acknowledge with sincere thanks, the Marie Curie Nurse who provided care for Mary at the time of her passing, her comfort and support to Pat, Bernie and her daughters, Leanne and Lauren will never be forgotten.

Our family would like to thank Fr Madden for the beautiful requiem Mass, he captured Mums spirit and life’s essence so perfectly. Thanks also to Father David O’Kane, Father Downey and Father O’Neill who concelebrated the service. The service was greatly enhanced by Una McAuley and Janette McDaid who providing the beautiful hymns throughout the service.

We would also like to thank all the friends and neighbours for their overwhelming support and kindness at our home on the morning of the funeral, those who lined the route and those who came to the chapel and stood outside throughout the service.

Thank you to Devlin Media for providing the webcam coverage during the Mass, thus allowing family and friends from far and near the opportunity to join us in the celebration of mum’s life. We sincerely thank you all for being with us in spirit during the service.

Mary’s Months Mind Mass will be held on Friday the 4th of February at 7.30pm in the Holy Rosary Church, Draperstown and may be viewed on Ballinascreen Parish webcam.
