CASSIDY (née Watkins) Carmel, April 13 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late Denis (Ding) Cassidy, loving mother of Paul, Julie, Kieran, Claire, Catherine, Mary and Michael, mother-in-law of Paddy, Gerard, Damien and the late Johno, a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Rosemary, Barney, Pauline, David, Cathy, James, Veronica and the late Matt.

Carmel will be reposing in her home, 15 Grainan Park, from 12noon – 10.00pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral from there on Friday at 11.15am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
