Revelation 21:4 – “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Catherine’s first anniversary will be observed on Saturday March 23rd at 7:00pm in The Church of the Assumption, Pomeroy.

We, the cousins of the late Catherine McGuone wish to sincerely thank all who sympathised with us
on the recent bereavement of our beloved Catherine.

We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Catherine both at home and in River
Vale nursing home, especially Theresa and Helena. We will never forget the compassion and
kindness shown to her.

We will be forever grateful to Fr. Moore, for his comforting and very kind words of support to us and
for his fitting homily, which provided such a genuine reflection of Catherine. Thanks also to Fr.
McVeigh Fr. Murphy and Fr. Bradley for visiting her.

Thanks to Kate McAleer for the dignified way she carried out the funeral arrangements, and to all
who participated in the funeral mass. Thanks to Maria Corrigan and staff for the delicious meal they
provided and Cavanakeeran Community Centre for the wonderful facilities. Thanks also to the grave
diggers.

We are all deeply grateful to all who attended the wake, the funeral and all those who kindly sent
mass cards.

A special thanks to Dervla Kelly and Michael Kerr, who provided the beautiful comforting
singing and music.

It would be impossible to thank everyone who helped console and support us at this difficult time
but trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted.

Holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions. Catherine’s months mind mass will be
celebrated in the Church of Assumption, Pomeroy on Wednesday 19 th April at 7:30pm.
