It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Terrence (Terry) Cavanagh on 4th January 2025. Late of 16 Sherard Street, Dublin and formerly of 72 Rinmore Drive, Creggan. May he rest in peace.

Beloved son of the late Jimmy and Maisie. Devoted brother of Brian, John, Rose, Christopher, Daniel, Frances, Tina and the late Patsy, Ann, Billy, Peter, Vincent and Valerie. A much loved brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.

Terry’s remains will be reposing at his niece Leanne’s residence, 151 Galliagh Park from approx. 3pm on Saturday 11th January. Funeral leaving from there on Sunday 12th January at 11:40am for 12:15pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
