Charlie McKENNA

Date of Death: Wednesday 15th March 2023 Town: Pomeroy
Date of Death: Wednesday 15th March 2023

We, the family of the late Charlie McKenna wish to sincerely thank all who sympathised with us on the recent bereavement of our dearly beloved Father, Grand Father and Great Grandfather
Our heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Daddy both at home, in the SWAH and in Fairfields. We will never forget the compassion and kindness which was shown to him.

We will be every grateful to Fr Moore who offered great support to the family giving comfort with his kind words and very fitting homily. It was a true reflection of our Father.
Special thanks to Kate McAleer, Funeral Director for the attentive, dignified and professional way in which she carried out the funeral arrangements.
Thanks also to Maria Corrigan and her staff for providing the delicious meal following the funeral and to the Cavanakeeran Community Centre for their wonderful facilities.

We wish to express our thanks to all who came to the wake and funeral, the Plunketts and all the youth who attended, to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, gifts and all who helped out at the wake, parked cars and supplied the buses, the gravediggers and all who took part in the Mass, the music and singing.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small token of our sincere appreciation.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 18 April 2023 at 7.30 pm in Church of the Assumption, Pomeroy.
