Date of Death: Sunday 8th October 2023
Ease your grief, she is not gone,
For in your heart she lingers on.
Her smile, her laugh, her special way,
Will comfort you from day to day.
You’ll feel her presence in the breeze,
That dances gently, through the trees,
And it’s her face that you will see,
When you’re in need of company.
At any time, you can recall,
The love you shared, you saved it all.
And in time, more than anything,
You’ll find peace in remembering
Forever missed by her husband Michael, daughter Ceadhra, sons Davin and Donal, mother Eithna, sisters Edel, Orla, Leone and Jayne, brother Michael, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.
Ciara’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Friday 11th October, in St. Patrick’s Church, Donaghmore at 7:30pm

Cummings Ciara (née Vincent) beloved wife of Michael, devoted mother to Ceadhra, Davin and Donal. Cherished daughter of Eithna and the late Brian Vincent RIP. Much loved sister to Edel (McGibbon), Orla (McKeown), Leone (Loughran), Jayne (McArdle) and Michael – wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.
We thank everyone who visited during the wake, sent messages, brought mass and sympathy cards, and provided comfort and emotional support at our time of need. Special thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours who helped provide refreshments during the wake.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the neighbours and everyone from Dungannon Thomas Clarke’s GFC, St Patrick’s GFC Donaghmore and Galbally Pearses GFC who assisted with traffic and parking arrangements. A special thanks to Darren Hamill for providing the buses and parking facilities.
Heartfelt thanks to all the medical staff at Campbell Surgery Dungannon, Mandaville Unit and Glenanne Suite in CAH, District Nurses, Macmillan Nurses, and Paul Donaghy’s Pharmacy Dungannon, who provided the utmost of care to Ciara in her time of need.
A special word of thanks to PP. Fr Gerard McAleer for his compassion, spiritual guidance and for conducting the funeral mass. Thanks also to Fr Moore for his support and prayers in Ciara’s final days.
To everyone who participated in the requiem mass. Thanks also to musicians Rory Madden, Pat Casey and PJ McDonald who accompanied and supported Ciara’s niece Caoimhe Loughran in singing and providing such comforting music.
Thanks to both Thomas Clarke’s GFC and the Principal Geraldine Donnelly, staff and students from St Joseph’s Grammar School Donaghmore, which all Ciara’s children are past pupils of, for providing a guard of honour.
To Marcus Galvin for assisting Ciara’s brother Michael in preparing her final place of rest.
Thanks to Quinn’s Corner for providing refreshments.
Finally, our deepest thanks to Kate McAleer (McAleer Bros. Funeral Directors) for her professional and dignified handling of Ciara’s funeral arrangements.
