CLARKIN (née McGarrity) Winifrede, 1st January 2026 Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Raymond. Beloved and adored mother of Kieran, Deirdre, Regina, Damian, Paul, Maura, Celine and Una. Family members; Christine, Paul, Clare, Sheenagh, Karl and Marie. Cherished grandmother of John Paul, Cliona, Gerard, Oónagh-Marie, Shay, Kyle, Mitchell, Ciara, Cayden and Fiadh. Much loved sister of Irene, the late Maureen, Tess and Eamon, and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Winifrede will be reposing at her home, 16 Ladbrook Drive, Belfast, from Friday, 2nd of January. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome from Saturday, 3rd of January onwards. She will leave her home on Sunday, 4 January 2026 at 5.30pm to be received at Holy Cross Church for the Vigil Service at 6.00pm. Winifrede’s Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, 5 January 2026 at 10.00am in Holy Cross Church, Ardoyne, followed by burial at St Peter’s Cemetery, The Rock, Stoneyford.
