A letter of acknowledgement and appreciation.
Patricia, Neil, Shonagh and the entire family of the late John Coleman wish to express our heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support and kindness shown to us throughout our recent bereavement. We would like to thank all who sent sympathy cards, Mass cards, posted online tributes and sent messages of condolence also those who attended the funeral and who travelled long distances to offer comfort and support.
We offer our sincere thanks to the team of Doctors, Nurses, and their ancillary staff at Belfast Royal Hospitals, MacMillan Nurses, MacMillan Unit, District Nurses. Also, Dr Kidd & Dr Cosgrove our family doctors, and their Practice in Antrim Health Centre for the great care and respect provided to John during his illness, we are forever grateful.
A special thanks to Canon John Forsythe for his spiritual guidance and beautiful funeral Mass enhanced by the lovely singing and music of The Gribben sisters.
Sincere thanks to Paddy and Dessie of Marrion’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassionate and respectful handling of all the funeral arrangements at this difficult time.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 8th February in St. MacNissi’s Church, Randalstown at 6.00pm when The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass shall be offered for the intentions of all.

John Francis Coleman, dearly beloved husband of Patricia, devoted father to Neil and Shonagh, cherished son of Eileen, and much-loved brother to Anne-Marie (Brolly), Mairéad (Piper), and Gerard.
John’s wake will take place at his late residence, 6a Ashdale, Randalstown, on: • Sunday, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm • Monday, from 1.00pm to 7:00 pm. His remains will be removed on Tuesday at 9:30 am to St. MacNissi’s Church for 10:00 am Requiem Mass, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. “On his soul, sweet Jesus, have mercy.”
John will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing wife, son, daughter, mummy, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and the wider family circle.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, can be made in lieu to MacMillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospice c/o Marrion’s Funeral Directors, 12a Main Street, Randalstown.
