Michael COLLINS

We the family of Michael wish to express our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to everyone who supported and helped us during the most difficult time of our lives. The loss we have experienced is more than we can bear.
Thank you to those who attended the wake during this time. We would also like to thank those who so generously provided food and refreshments. It was much appreciated. To anyone who also donated to DEEDS at the Old Library Trust in lieu of flowers we are most grateful.
To the staff of Ward 50 and the NWCC at Altnagelvin Hospital. You treated Michael with great dignity and care. You fought as hard as he did and we will be forever thankful.
Special thanks to Myra, Grainne and Evelyn.
Their constant presence and support was a great comfort at such a difficult time.
To Michelle and Michael, your help during the wake was invaluable and special to us. We appreciated all your hard work so much.
Thanks to Gerry, Gerald and Caoimhe who spoke so well and to Michaela and Bronagh for their beautiful choice of music at Michaels service.
We are so appreciative to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their professionalism and compassion whilst dealing with the arrangements. We thank them for also liaising with Lakelands Crematorium in Cavan and their help regarding the service. It brought us a lot of comfort in our deepest sorrow.
As its impossible to thank everyone personally please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude to all. Thank you so much.
To everyone else Michael was a true gentleman. To us he was a husband, Daddy, Granda, Dr Collins, our hero and of course a legend who will live on through us.
