The family circle of the late James (Jim) Connaghan R.I.P. wish to express their most sincere thanks to all those kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. A special word of thanks to Fr. Dermot McCaughan for celebrating the Funeral Mass and for his words of comfort and prayers. To all of the doctors, nurses, medical professionals and carers who looked after Jim. To all those who sent donations, cheques payable to Marie Curie Cancer Centre (c/o Ronnie Thompson Funeral Directors) or online via www.ronniethompson.co.uk. Sent Mass cards, letters and cards of sympathy, telephoned, called at the home, brought gifts, attended the funeral or helped in any way. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
A month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated for Jim on 28th September at 6.30pm in St Patrick’s Church.
CONNAGHAN, Jim – 26th August 2024. Peacefully at his home, Causeway End Park, Lisburn, aged 74 years.
Beloved husband of the late Joan. Much loved and loving father to Kelly, Paul, Kevin, Joseph, Teresa and the late Mark R.I.P. Dear father-in-law of Pauline and Johnny. Proud granda to Kieron, Jack, Amelia, Anna and Emer.
Jim’s remains will be reposing at Ronnie Thompsons, Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, where friends and family are welcome to pay their respects . Friends and family are also welcome to call at the family home.
Funeral on Thursday 29th August following 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Chapel Hill, Lisburn to Holy Trinity Cemetery. Requiem Mass can be viewed free of charge online via www.churchlive.co.uk/livepage.html
