CONNELL, Gerald – R.I.P. 31 Parkview, Newtowncloughoge, Newry. 4th March 2022, peacefully at Ardmaine Nursing Home.
Beloved father of Karla, Feargal and Jill, partner of Rosalie, grandfather to Stuart, Ryan, Kayla, Tiarnan, Niall, Jamie, Evan and Sinead and great-grandfather to Ethan, Mylah, Quinn and Dean.
Gerald’s remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ today (Saturday 5th March) from 2.00pm until 4.00pm and from 6.00pm until 8.00pm and tomorrow (Sunday 6th March) from 2.00pm until 4.00pm and from 6.00pm until 8.00pm.
Removal on Monday morning (7th March) at 11.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloughoge. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
Very deeply regretted by his loving son, daughters, partner, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Martin, sister Maureen, daughter-in- law Bernie and his extended family circle.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The Alzheimer’s Society c/o the donations box in the funeral home or any family member. May he rest in peace.
