CONNELL Maurice, (Newry) June 8th, 2025. Peacefully at Avilla Nursing Home, Maurice, dearly beloved brother of Tommy and the late Monica, Yvonne Burke and Linda Carragher and son of the late Tommy and Eva, 17 Warren Hill, Old Warrenpoint Road, Newry.

Maurice’s remains will repose at Heaney Keenan Funeral Home, 53 Patrick Street, Newry, on Wednesday from 2pm–4pm and again from 7pm–9pm. Funeral will leave the funeral home on Thursday at 12.15pm for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm in St Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street, Newry. Cremation will follow on Friday at 10.30am in Dardistown Crematorium, Dublin. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on his soul.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his entire family circle and many friends.
