ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We, the family of the late Moya Convery, wish to express our gratitude for the sympathy and kind support we received during our recent bereavement. We wish to thank our extended family, friends, neighbours and all those who travelled to attend the wake and funeral as well as those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and letters of condolence. Your help and support were greatly appreciated.
We wish to thank most sincerely all staff in Ward 44 Altnagelvin Hospital for the wonderful care they gave to Moya during her illness. A special word of thanks also to Dr Stephen Lalsingh and the staff of Clarendon Medical for their kindness and compassionate care over the years.
Thank you to Fr Joe Gormley for his pastoral support during the wake and for celebrating Moya’s Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Michelle Conaghan for her beautiful singing.
Finally, thanks to Ciaran and all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, for their guidance and support and for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out Moya’s funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.
Moya’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty on Sunday 2nd March 2025 at 9.30am.

CONVERY (nee Ferry) Moya, 31st January 2025 beloved wife of Pat, loving mother of Karen, Columb, Sean and Oonagh, devoted grandmother of Michael, Jack, Niall, Caitlin, Cara, Sadhbh and Lorcán, mother-in-law of Mickey and Noirín and dear sister of Tony, Eileen, Theresa, Monica, Paul and the late Geraldine.
Moya’s remains will be reposing in her home from 7 pm on Saturday. Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time from 9.30 pm to 11 am.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
