COONEY Chris, 55 Concession Road, Culloville, Co. Armagh BT35 9AR. Sunday 3rd May 2026, peacefully, in the care of staff at Craigavon Area Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Chris will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Kathleen, sons Anthony (Briege) and Darragh (Grainne), his much cherished grandchildren Dáithi, Bláithín, Donncha, Aogán and Réalta, his extended family, neighbours & many friends.

Chris will repose at his home, 55 Concession Road, Culloville on on Monday, 4th May from 6.00pm to Close friends and Neighbours and again on Tuesday, 5th May from 1pm until 8pm to all who knew him. House Private on Wednesday morning, by family request.

Chris’s funeral cortège will leave his home on Wednesday 6th May at 10.30am arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen for Requiem Mass at 11:00am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be made to the ICU Unit at Craigavon Area Hospital c/o Peter McCaughey Funeral Directors or by donation box.
