Date of Death: Saturday 31st May 2025 Town: Downpatrick
Date of Death: Saturday 31st May 2025

Jackie, Dolores and Kate would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who sympathised with us on the death of our much loved wife and mother.
To all our family and friends, those who sent mass and sympathy cards,
sent messages via social media or made a charitable contribution to Pancreatic Cancer Research UK we thank you.
To everyone who called at the house to pay their respects, attended the removal to the chapel and the requiem mass and to those who travelled many miles to be with us, we appreciate and are grateful for your support.
A massive thank you to the funeral assistants of Killough and Bright Parish who prayed with us at the house, chapel and graveside, your words gave us comfort.
A special mention to Rev. Father Peter O’Kane for visiting Nellie during her time in the Kings Castle Nursing Home and for the beautiful requiem mass, you touched our hearts with your words.
The music and singing was wonderful and we thank Bernie and Marty Campbell also Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors.
Thank you to Murphy’s Bar for the catering after the funeral.
Finally we would like to convey our sincere thanks and gratitude to every single member of staff at the Kings Castle Nursing Home. We don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for the care given to Nellie over the past couple of years you went above and beyond the call of duty. May God bless you all.
Nellie’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Monday 30th June at 7:30pm in St Patrick’s Church Downpatrick.
