1. Family acknowledgement and months mass details

The husband (Packie Corrigan) and daughter (Aisling Conway) of the late Noreen Corrigan would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who offered kindness, support and compassion during the difficult days surrounding Noreen’s passing, we have been overwhelmed with the number of people who visited Noreen in hospital and called with us and attended the funeral, sent cards, messages, supplied food or helped in any way. Thanks to Kathleen, Raymond, Cara and Roisin Donaghy, Mary Lappin, Emma Grant, Marie Grant ,Siobhan Devlin, and Geraldine Havey for taking time to stay with us and make teas coffee and support us.  We wish to acknowledge mum’s nieces, nephews, cousins and close neighbours, your kindness, support, and thoughtfulness throughout mums’ hospital stay and wake/funeral service have been and continue to be of great comfort.

Thank you to Clogher Valley Community Care team for the care and attention provided to mum over the past few years, which enabled her to remain living independently in her much-loved home.  We wish to acknowledge the paramedics/NI ambulance service who attended to Noreen at her family home and brought her to hospital.  To the nursing and medical staff at A and E and the Acute Stroke ward at Craigavon area hospital for their care and attention.  Particular thanks to the hospital Chaplaincy team for their spiritual support and kindness during Noreen’s stay at hospital. In particular-Rev. Michael Rooney, and Rev. Derek Dunn.  Also particular thanks to Mary Lappin and Tracey Wallace for visiting mum in hospital to pray and bless her with the relic of St Peregrine.

We are very Grateful to Kevin Mullin and Sean Cassidy for getting in contact with Dungannon Thomas Clarkes Gaelic football club to arrange assistance with catering equipment .  Also, thanks to Kevin and Ciaran McElvogue for providing Marquee and chairs for wake.   Special thankyou to Packie Conway for collecting family at Dublin airport to attend wake and funeral.

Sincere thanks to Fr. Eamon McCamley for visiting Noreen’s home every 1^stFriday of the month over the past few years to pray and provide communion and for visiting her whilst she was in hospital to pray and provide last rites.  We would also like to thank Fr McCamley for his spiritual guidance throughout Noreen’s wake and for the beautiful funeral service.  Thank you to Deacon Tony Hughes for officiating alongside Father McCamley at Noreen’s funeral service and saying prayers at her final resting place.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the funeral, special thanks to all who read readings ( Geraldine Harvey and Aoibhin Conway)/Prayers of the Faithful (Mary Lappin, Emily Finnegan, Stephanie Wilson, Siobhan Devlin, Emma grant, Ailis Corrigan, and Maria McBride). Special thanks also to those who took up the offertory gifts (Dáire Conway, Paul Finnegan, Kathleen Donaghy, Patrina Donnelly, and Cathy Harvey).  Particular thanks to Andrea Begley for the beautiful singing and music and to Emily Finnegan for her beautiful reflection on the life of Noreen.  Thanks to the sacristans for preparing the chapel.

A very special thanks to Kate McAleer Funeral Director and her staff in particular John Donaghy for the very professional and dignified way they took care of the funeral arrangements, also Peter McHugh and the grave diggers for preparing Noreen’s final resting place.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation.

As we prepare for Noreen’s Months Mind mass, we are reminded of the love and care shown to her and us, we are forever grateful, please join us for Noreen’s Months Mind mass on Monday August 10th at 7:30pm in St Patricks church Dungannon.

May Noreen rest in eternal peace.  St Theresa of ‘The little Flower’ pray for her.
