We, wife Alice, son Gary, daughters Sonia and Allison and the entire family circle of the late Laurence Thomas Craven 93 Drumalane Road, Newry, wish to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all those who supported us on our recent sad bereavement.
Thank you to all those who attended the wake and funeral and sent messages of sympathy. We wish to also thank relatives and friends who sent Mass cards and donations for the Hospice.
Also, thank you to Father Liam McKinney for celebrating a lovely requiem mass and to Janice Gribben for the beautiful singing and music at the mass.
We would also like to thank Mc Gennity Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Laurence’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 23rd April at 6.30pm in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloughoge.
CRAVEN, Laurence Thomas R.I.P. Died peacefully in Daisy Hill Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on 24th March 2022. Late of 93 Drumalane Road, Newry.
Loving son of the late Laurence and Bridget Craven of Dominic Street, Newry. Beloved husband of Alice, loving father of Sonia, Gary and Allison, loving brother of the late Oliver, Danny, Bernadette, Frances, May and Sheila and devoted grandfather to Michael, Katie, Alice, Daisy, Kieran, Sophie and Adam.
Laurence’s remains are reposing at his late residence from 7.00pm this evening (Friday 25th March) until removal on Sunday (27th March) at 1.30pm, arriving for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm in The Church of the Assumption, Drumalane. Burial afterwards in Cloughoge cemetery.
House private on Sunday only please. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for him.
Very deeply regretted by his entire family circle.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Southern Area Hospice.
May he rest in peace.
