Date of Death: Monday 1st January 2024

The Wife and Family of the late Donald James Crooks, 120 Moneymore Road, Cookstown, wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them on the sudden loss of their loving Husband, Father, Father-in-Law and Grandfather, Donald.

Heartfelt thanks to all family, friends and neighbours who sent cards, messaged, telephoned, attended the funeral service and to those who kindly donated to the chosen charity, NI Chest, Heart, and Stroke, in Donald’s memory. Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated at this very difficult time.

Thanks to those who provided care and support to Donald in a compassionate and dignified manner, both in hospital and at home.

A special word of thanks to Rev Tom Greer for visiting, both at hospital and at home and for leading such a meaningful funeral service of thanksgiving and for the comforting service in the family home and at the graveside. Your support has been an invaluable comfort in these difficult days. Thanks to Tanya Stewart for providing the music, to Clarke and Jackie Hill for their prompt preparation of the Church and other Church Members who helped in any way at the funeral service.

The Family would like to extend sincere thanks to Helen and all her Staff at D. Watters Funeral Services for their professionalism and support in conducting the funeral arrangements in a truly dignified manner.

As it would be very difficult to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation.

“In God’s care you rest above and in our hearts you dwell with love”
