Rita CULLEN (nee Mc Guigan)

Date of Death: Friday 3rd February 2023 Town: Armagh
Date of Death: Friday 3rd February 2023

We the family of the late Rita Cullen (RIP), Armagh would like to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us during and since our recent sad bereavement.

We would like to thank our extended family, friends and neighbours who called at our home, your support and presence was invaluable. Thanks to all those who attended the wake, funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards, floral tributes, telephoned, messaged or posted online their expression of sympathy and those who viewed the funeral mass online. Those were all greatly appreciated. Thanks to all the individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake, all too many to mention and to Cordillias and The Commercial Bar, Middletown for
their generosity.

A special word of appreciation to the members of West Armagh Consortium and Westenders for the use of their equipment during the wake and their presence throughout.
We are ever so grateful for the spiritual support Rita received from Fr. Sean Moore throughout her illness, for his home visits and for celebrating a beautiful and fitting Requiem Mass. We thank everyone who took part in the mass and to Catherine Grimley Hughes and Dermot Mc Cusker for their lovely music and song.
A special and heartfelt thanks to Dr Sonniva Mc Alinden and the staff of Tynan Surgery for their exemplary care and to the District Nurses from Abbey Court Surgery, Armagh. Thanks to Fiona Sheridan and the carers from Enable, particularly Amanda and Sallie whose
compassion and friendship helped us care for Rita at home. Also to the pharmacy staff of Mc Keevers Chemist Thomas Street, Armagh. Sincere thanks to Laura Keegan for her support, generosity and for providing refreshments post burial.

Finally, thanks to Martin Kelly Funeral Directors for the compassionate and dignified handling of all the funeral arrangements and the support and kindness shown by Martin.

As it is impossible to thanks everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Rita’s Months Mind mass will take place on Friday 3rd march at 7.30 in St Malachys Church Armagh
