We the family of the late Karen Cummings (née McQuaid) would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered their support during this difficult time. Your calls, messages, and prayers mean the world to us.
A special thank you to Karen’s colleagues at Daisy Ward in Daisy Hill Hospital who have gone above and beyond for our family. We are truly grateful for your kindness.
Karen’s farewell was everything we could have hoped for, and we owe this to so many people. We deeply appreciate everyone who attended the funeral. Thank you to Fr. McGrath and Fr. McMahon for the beautiful service and their ongoing prayers. We are also grateful to the police for coordinating road closures and for their unwavering support.
A heartfelt thanks to Niamh and Gerry for the beautiful music, and to all the staff at Daisy Hill for the touching guard of honour—it was such a meaningful gesture. The flowers were absolutely stunning, and we are so appreciative to Central Florist, Newry for creating such beautiful tributes.
Finally, a massive thank you to Patricia and her team at Heaney Keenan Funeral Directors, Banbridge for their incredible support and hard work from the very beginning. Patricia guided us through every step and alleviated so much of the burden during a difficult time. Patricia’s professionalism, care, and ongoing support have been invaluable and truly carried us through.
We are forever grateful to everyone who played a part in honouring Karen’s memory. It is impossible to thank everyone individually for all they have done for us. Please accept this acknowledgement as a heartfelt expression of our sincere thanks and gratitude.

Karen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday, 18 January 2025, at 5.30pm in the Church of St. Therese, Banbridge.
