CUNNINGHAM Oliver, 17 Drumcloon Walk, Downpatrick, died peacefully on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at Downe Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of Anne, loving father of Stephen, John, Ciaran and James, cherished grandfather of Leigh, Rhys, Erin, Caoimhe and Ellie, much loved brother of Winnie and treasured father-in-law of Tracey and Eadaoin.

Oliver is reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Down Funeral Directors, 26 John Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6BY, with the family in attendance today, Wednesday 2nd September, from 7.00pm to 9.00pm and tomorrow, Thursday 3rd September, from 2.00pm to 8.00pm.

Oliver will leave the funeral home on Friday 4th September at 9.30am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am in St Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick, with interment afterwards in Struell Cemetery.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family and friends. Lady Queen of Ireland, intercede for him.
