Date of Death: Monday 3rd January 2022 Town: Omagh
Date of Death: Monday 3rd January 2022

We, the family of the late Rodney Cunningham, wish to express our most sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent, sad bereavement.

Thank you to all those who sent cards, gifts and messages and to those who brought food to the family home and provided practical help.

Thank you to those who lined the funeral route to pay their respects to Rodney on his final journey, to those who travelled from near and far to attend the funeral service and to those who gave donations in lieu of flowers to the Palliative Care Ward, Omagh. We are truly grateful and overwhelmed by the support given to us.

Special thanks to Rodney’s team of carers from Northwest Care, and his District Nursing Team for the caring and professional way they looked after Rodney in the past two years.
Thanks to the Marie Curie Nurse who attended to Rodney during his final hours and gave such immense support to us as a family.

Sincere thanks to the doctors and staff at Drumragh Family Practice and to the staff at Slevins Pharmacy for their most helpful and caring support throughout Rodney’s illness.

Thanks also to Care for Cancer, Omagh for their kindness to Rodney over the past years.
Special thanks to Canon Derek Quinn for his pastoral care and support and for conducting a very meaningful and fitting tribute at Rodney’s funeral. Sincere thanks also to the organist, Mrs Roberta Monteith and to the church wardens and florist.

Thanks to the Mid Tyrone Indoor Bowling Team for providing a guard of honour for Rodney and to Eric Donaghy for piping at the graveside.

Thanks also to the Silverbirch Hotel for providing refreshments after the service.

Finally, our most grateful and sincere thanks to Adams & Pollock Funeral Directors for the professional, supportive and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the gravedigger for preparing Rodney’s final resting place, and to Floral Temptations for the beautiful family flowers.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by everyone as a token of our most heartfelt and sincere appreciation.
