Susan DALY (nee Goodman)

Acknowledgement Notice
The family of the late Susan Daly (Goodman), who passed away peacefully at home on 22nd January 2025, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us during this time of deep sorrow. Your kindness, love, and generosity have been a source of comfort and we will never forget the warmth and compassion shown to us.
To those who visited Susan at home and in hospital, some traveling great distances to be by her side, we are forever grateful. Your presence, whether in person or from afar, meant the world to us. To our wonderful family, friends, colleagues, and our dear neighbours from Divismore Crescent, your outpouring of support through condolences, attendance at the wake and funeral, Mass cards, flowers, food, and thoughtful gestures brought us immense solace. To those who sent messages of support and joined us in spirit by watching the service online—your kindness did not go unnoticed, and we truly felt your presence.
A heartfelt thank you to all who cared for and supported Susan during her illness. We are deeply appreciative of the compassionate care she received from Springvale Medical Practice, Ward 6B of the RVH, District Nurses—especially Louise, Ursula, Aoibhin, and Trudy—as well as the Connected Health Care Workers and Dr. Anne Leavy for their unwavering dedication, kindness, and even moments of laughter amidst the difficulty. Your care and devotion brought comfort to Susan and to all of us, and we will always be grateful.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Paddy for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and for being with us at the graveside—your words and presence provided us with strength and peace. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Cara McCann, whose beautiful music filled the church and touched our hearts in ways we cannot express.
To Davitts GAC, your hospitality and kindness to all who attended were deeply appreciated, and we are truly thankful. A special thanks to Nadine Megaw for her singing at the Davitts also.
We also wish to extend our sincerest thanks to Mallon Brothers Funeral Directors, especially Christopher, Mickey, and Damian, for their professionalism, sensitivity, and exceptional care throughout this difficult time. Your support went above and beyond, and we will always remember the compassion you showed us.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our appreciation, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Susan’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at 6:00pm in Corpus Christi Chapel, Belfast.
