FAMILY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The Family of the Late Terry Daly (RIP) Sluggan, Carrickmore, wish to extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
We are extremely grateful to our extended Family, Friends and Neighbours who railed round to make tea, organised car parking and supply food. Words cannot descridbe the comfort they brought!
A special word of thanks to Fr. Peter McAnenly PP (Carrickmore) for visiting Terry at home and for the lovely way in which he celebrated Terry’s Requiem Mass. We also want to thank him for his continued support.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Fr. Barney McAleer and Fr. David Moore PP (Pomeroy) for their attendance at Terry’s wake and funeral and for their continued support and spiritual guidance.
Special thanks to Beragh District Nurses, Carers and Marie Curie who meticulously cared for Terry with compassion and professionalism in his final days and also provided much support to the Family.
We are grateful for the ongoing support from the Doctors and Nurses at Carrickmore Health Centre and McAleer’s Medical Hall staff, especially Damian who went over and above the call of duty.
Warm thanks to Kate McAleer, Funeral Director and John Donaghy for the dignified, compassionate and respectful way they conducted wake and funeral arrangements.
Thanks to the Charm Inn for providing delicious refreshments after the funeral and the Patrician Hall fro the use of thier premisies.
Special appreciation to Ciara Fox (Rafferty) who mesmerised us all with her beautiful voice at the funeral Mass.
As it would be inpossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude.
Terry’s month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 9th August in St Colmcille’s Church, Carrickmore at 7.30pm and can also be viewed via webcam.
DALY (Sluggan, Carrickmore) Terence (Terry), peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, July 12 th 2024 R.I.P. Beloved husband of Teresa (Nee Conlan). Cherished father of Geraldine (Fergal Murphy), Francis, Plunket and Gerard (Breda). Devoted grandfather of Brendan, Ruairi, Hugh, Terry and Sadie. Dear brother of John and Rosie Loughran (USA) and the late Peter and Ellen McMahon and Charlie who died in infancy R.I.P.
Terry’s remains are reposing at his late residence, 28 Coolbrack Road, Sluggan, Carrickmore, BT79 9HP. Funeral from there on Sunday July 14th at 10.45am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Colmcille’s Church, Carrickmore. Interment afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his entire family circle.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
