DAVEY, Hugh (Maghera, formerly Newcastle) died 27th February 2025 peacefully at the Ulster Hospital. Beloved husband of Anne and cherished father of Matthew.

Much loved son of the late Hugh and Teresa RIP (Omeath) Dearly loved brother of Damien, Anne, Conleth and the late Patrick and Terry RIP also adored grandfather of Kynan, Niall and Naoise.

Hugh’s remains will be reposing at his late residence 2 Morrows Hill, Maghera, BT31 9TP with those wishing to pay their respects welcome to attend from 5pm – 9pm today Friday 28th February 2025 and Saturday 1st March 2025 from 12 noon to 9pm. Leaving on Sunday 2nd March 2025 at 8.45am for requiem mass at 9.30am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Newcastle followed by burial in St Patricks cemetery, Bryansford. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Chest, Heart & Stroke NI c/o Stephen Morgan Funeral Director 14 Main St, Newcastle, Co.Down, BT33 0AD.
