The family of the late Elizabeth Deane (nee Faulkner) extends their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and kindness shown to them during their recent bereavement. Your prayers, affection, help, and sympathy have brought great comfort to us.
We are especially thankful to our family and friends who assisted during the wake, brought food, sent mass cards, messages of sympathy, visited during the wake and attended the funeral. Your thoughtful gestures and presence meant so much to us during this difficult time.
A special thanks to the Dr Nimir Ibrahim, Dr Josephine Finnerty, Helen McCormack and Karen Harper at Altnagelvin Cancer Unit, Sperrin Suite, Foyle Hospice, and the Marie Curie nurses. Your professional care uplifted Elizabeth’s spirits throughout her illness and eased her suffering.
We extend our deepest appreciation to Father McFaul for his unwavering support, the beautiful and personal Requiem Mass, and the heartfelt eulogy. Our gratitude also goes to Lauren & Bethany for their beautiful singing and music, which brought great comfort to us all.
Our thanks also to W.J. O’Brien Funeral Directors, especially Kieran, for the professional and dignified manner in which all the funeral arrangements were handled. Your guidance and care did not go unnoticed.
