It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick (Paddy) Deery, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 16th July 2025. Late of 11 Beechwood Avenue. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of the late Sheila. Loving father of Paul, Stephen and Kevin. Dear father-in-law of Agnes, Patricia and Karen. A much loved grandfather of Cora, Amy-Lee, Jamie and Leon. Dearest brother of Willie, Margaret, Kathleen and the late Charlie, John, Mickey, Tony and Susie. Beloved son of the late Charlie and Kathleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Paddy’s remains will be reposing at his late residence, 11 Beechwood Avenue from 6pm this evening, Thursday 17th July. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday 19th July at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
