The death has occurred of Fr Michael Dempsey C.Ss.R, Clonard Monastery. Clonard Gardens, Belfast. Peacefully at The Thompson house hospital on 7th May 2025. Beloved member of The Redemptorist Community. Beloved son of the late Billy and Bernadette and loving brother of Seamus and Liam, uncle and Godfather of Maria.

Fr Michael’s remains will repose in the Monastery Parlour from Thursday 8th May until 5.45pm on Friday 9th May and will be removed to the Church before the 6.15pm Mass. Funeral will take place on Saturday 10th May at 11.00am Requiem Mass followed by burial at Milltown Cemetery. Deeply regretted by his Redemptorist Confreres , brothers, niece and wider family circle.
