Dermot McCartan died on November 14th 2020. Sadly passed away suddenly at home, Diamond Gardens, Belfast.

Dermot, beloved husband of Colette, father of Deirdre, Fiona and Dermot, and adoring grandfather of Niamh, Eimear, Michael, Lorcan and Eireann. A father, a friend, a grandfather too, each one of us thought the world of you. You shared our troubles and helped us along, if we follow your footsteps we will never go wrong. He will be sorely missed. No-one could have asked for a more loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Book of Condolences

To Collette, Deirdre, Fiona, Dermot, I was at mass on Sunday last and the priest asked the congregation to pray for those recently deceased. What a shock to hear Dermot's name mentioned. Please accept my condolences and to say that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dermot was a good man and a friend and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
