DICKSON Edward (Teddy) Passed away peacefully August 20, 2026 at the Ulster Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mary, adored son of the late Sadie and Ted, devoted father of Cathy and Patricia, cherished father-in-law of Brian and Brian, adored grandfather of Jack, Ryan, Niamh, Orla and Conor. He will be sorely missed by his family circle and friends.

Teddy will be reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 2 St Judes Avenue, Belfast BT7. Visitors are welcome to call and pay their respects, family will be in residence today Tuesday and tomorrow Wednesday from 2.00pm – 4.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday August 27th at 11.00am in Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau Road, Belfast, followed by committal at Milltown Cemetery at 12.45pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu can be made to Chest, Heart and Stroke, c/o O’Kanes Funeral Directors.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ward 5E of the Ulster Hospital, especially Dr Isobel for all the care they provided while Teddy was in hospital. St Padre Pio, pray for him.
