Date of Death: Saturday 2nd November 2024

Rita and the family of the late Paul Doherty would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank all those who attended the wake house, brought mass cards, for messages of condolences, to all who attended the funeral mass and for all the beautiful flowers.
A special word of thanks to our family members for all your help and support during Paul’s wake, we are so grateful to you all.
A heartfelt thanks to all the outstanding team in ward 26, Dr Mc Closkey, Dr Kelly and the palliative care team at Altnagelvin Hospital, for all the care given to Paul the last few years, and the compassion, empathy and dignity not only shown to Paul, but also the family in his last few weeks of life. Your compassion was very comforting, and we will be forever grateful to you all. You are all amazing.
Thank you to both Fr Lagan and Fr Canny, who attended to Paul in his final days of life, attended our home throughout the wake, and offered prayers.
A special word of thanks to Fr Lagan for the beautiful funeral mass.
We would like to thank Sarah, Isobel, and Paul’s niece Lisa for the amazing music and singing, which added a special touch to the funeral mass.
We extend our thanks to Annette at the Sandwich Co spencer road for the beautiful sandwiches provided to us at the wake.
Thank you to Kieran and all at W.J. O Brien and son Funeral directors for your dignified and professional manner and outstanding service.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation. We are truly grateful for all your support, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.
