It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter Doherty, a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle, who left us unexpectedly on January 30th 2025, at age of 48.

Peter was born in Ireland and was a man whose humour and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Peter was the loving husband of Marcela and a proud father of his two children, Hannah and Sebastian, who were the centre of his world. His devotion to his family were immeasurable, and he found his greatest joy in their shared moments. He was a pillar of support and a constant source of love and encouragement to his wife and children.

As a son, Peter was cherished by his mother, Margaret Doherty. He was also a devoted brother to Roslyn and Paul. Their shared memories will continue to be a source of strength and comfort. He will be missed beyond words by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Peter’s legacy will live on through the love he gave and the memories he leaves behind.
