With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Kevin aged 22, on 17th August 2026.

Beloved son of Liz and Michael, loving brother to Kayleigh, Gerard, Shauna, Holly and Michéal, much loved partner of Rhianna, father to their unborn baby son, cherished uncle to Ava, Grace, Odhran, Conan and Connaoth. Father to daughter Elmyra.

Kevin will be reposing at his family home 31 Tobar Glen Crescent, Newtownabbey, BT36 6QU from Wednesday 19th August 2026, from 11.00am-10.00pm and Thursday 20th August from 11.00am-1.00pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Bernard’s Church on Thursday 20th August at 4.30pm, this can be viewed live on the link below. Cremation will take place on Friday 21st August at 9.00am at Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium.

Family flowers only, Donations in lieu can be made payable to the charity close to Kevin’s Heart, The People’s Kitchen c/o O’Kanes Funeral Home.

Liz and Michael would like to acknowledge the Flax Foyer staff for the dignity, respect and support they have shown Kevin and the family, it has been very comforting.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Rest peacefully, Kevin. You will never be forgotten. Good night Son.
