We, the family of the late John Doran, who passed away peacefully on 16th March 2025, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathised with us on the loss of our dear Husband, Father and Granda. Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, messages, flowers and food. We are so grateful to the family, friends and neighbours who supported us in any way.
To all the wonderful staff who cared for Daddy, including the District Nurses, Palliative Care Team, Marie Curie and Macmillan Nurses, we deeply appreciate your dedicated kindness and support towards our family and Daddy.
Thank you to Father Adrian Farrelly for the beautiful requiem mass and for all his and Father Carlos’ support to our family and Daddy throughout his short illness. Thanks to Leon and Gareth for the beautiful music and singing and to all who helped make the funeral mass special.
A special word of thanks to the McGennity family for the professional and dignified manner in which you carried out the funeral and for all your guidance.
We would like to express our gratitude to Ballyholland Harps GAC, Courtney’s for the catering and Windmill Stars for the guard of honour.
It is impossible to thank everyone who has helped our family in all the many ways, but please know that we are greatly appreciative for everything.
John’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 16th April at 7.30pm in St Catherine’s Dominican, Newry.
So sadly missed by all who love him. May John rest in peace.
