Margaret DORAN (née Curran)

Date of Death:

The family of the late Margaret Doran would like to express their gratitude for the many acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy received during their recent bereavement. Margaret was a much loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all.

We would like to thank all our family and friends who called at the house with cards, food and refreshments, to everyone who sent messages of condolence and support to the family and to those who made donations to Cancer Research in lieu of flowers.
Our thanks to Fr Stephen Quinn who celebrated her beautiful Requiem Mass, to all who attended the funeral and to those from home and abroad who participated via the Parish Webcam. Thanks to The Campbell Family for the beautiful music at Mass, to Downpatrick Scouts and Avenue Bar Golfing Society for forming guards of honour and to Mickey Magee for the Lament at the burial.

Sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses and carers who attended to Margaret with such care and compassion over recent years.
Thanks to Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.

Margaret’s Months Mind will be celebrated on Monday 28th March 2022 at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick.
