Norman (Norrie) DOUGAN
The family of the late Norman (Norrie) Dougan would like to express their sincere thanks for the support and sympathy they received on their recent bereavement.
To everyone who called at Charles Rourke & Sons Funeral Home, attended Roselawn, sent cards, made donations to RNLI, or helped in any way.
Special thanks to the nurses, carers and staff in Ringdufferin Nursing Home for the care, commitment and friendship given to Norrie during his time there.
Thanks also to Dr Magill, Dr Boyle and Dr Moore of Killyleagh Surgery for their attendance and advice.
Thank you to Rachel Smith, Celebrant, for the beautiful Humanist Service.
A special mention to Austin McCullough for providing the lovely food and refreshments in The Dufferin Arms.
A final heartfelt thanks to Charles Rourke & Sons Funeral Directors for their services which were carried out with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion.
DOUGAN Norman (Norrie), 15th OCTOBER 2024, peacefully at Ringdufferin Nursing Home, dearly beloved father of Noreen, Lorna and the late Kim, father-in-law of Stuart and Mark, loving grandad of Linzi, Kathryn and Mark, great-grandfather of Jaxson, Everly, Seth and Bridie, brother of Kathleen and the late Evertt.
Funeral Service will be held in Roselawn Crematorium on Tuesday 22nd October at 1.20pm.
Family and friends welcome to call at Charles Rourke and Sons’ Funeral Home on Sunday 20th October from 4.00pm to 6.00pm when Norrie’s family shall be present.
No flowers please. Donations may be made in lieu if desired to RNLI Portaferry Branch c/o Charles Rourke and Sons
