DOUGLAS Anthony (Desi) Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 4th July 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of the Late Alice and Eugene. Husband of Emily, devoted father of Tony, Elaine, Mari, Jennifer and Emma, father-in-law of Elaine, Tom, Tony, Matt and the late Mark, much loved grandfather of Daniel, Meibh, Niall, Lydia and Patrick. Much loved uncle to his nieces and nephews, loving brother of Lily and the Late Eugene, Gary, Marie, Joe, Jim and Gerard. (Formerly of Amcomri Street) St. Padre Pio Pray for Him.

Desi’s remains will be reposing at the family home, 83 Colinglen Road, BT17 0LW from Sunday 6th from 6pm for those wishing to call and pay their respects. Desi’s remains will leave the family home on Wednesday 9th July at 10:15am to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Glenavy for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial to follow in the adjoining Cemetery.

Desi will be loved and missed always by his wife, children, Daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister and the entire family circle.
