DOWNEY Eamon, R.I.P. Died 2nd May 2026 (Greenlough). Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Eamon R.I.P. beloved husband of Anne (née McAllister); loving father of Martina (Liam Rafferty), Brenda (Mark Madden), Seamus (Geraldine), Denise (Sean O’Kane), Paul (Charlene) and the late Emmett (Marie) and a much adored Granda D and great Granda.

Son of the late Eddie and Sadie and brother of Edward, Patrick, Kathleen, Jean, Annie and the late Peggy, Mary Anne and Bridget.

Everyone welcome to call at the family home on Sunday from 2pm to 10pm and Monday from 10am to 10pm.

Funeral from his late residence, 33 Ballymacpeake Road, on Tuesday at 10:15am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Clady (which can be viewed via the parish webcam; https://www.greenlough.com/web-cam/). Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Greenlough. Our Lady of Knock pray for him.
