DOWNEY Michael died on 29th July 2021, at Daisy Hill Hospital. Late of 92 Forkhill Road, Ayallogue, Newry.

Beloved husband of Hannah, loving father of Joanne, Gerard, Michael, Sean and Moninna, grandfather of Ava-Rose, John and Molly, dear son of the late Michael and Mary Downey, predeceased by his sister Moninna and his brother Tom.

Michael’s remains are reposing at his late residence until removal on Monday morning at 11.00am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon in St. Joseph’s church, Meigh. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, St. Bridget and St. Gerard Majella pray for him.

Very deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters, son-in-law Colm, grandchildren, brothers David and Ciaran, sisters Anne, Olivia, Miriam and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and entire family circle. May he rest in peace.
