DOWNEY (née Smylie) Rita – (Dromore) October 8, 2023, (peacefully) at Daisy Hill Hospital after a short illness, late of 59 Gowdystown Road.

Rita, dearly beloved wife of the late Joe, cherished mother of Angela, Hugo, John, Michael, Kevin and Jarleth.

Remains will repose from 4pm on Tuesday at her late residence. Funeral will leave her residence on Thursday at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Colman’s Church, Dromore. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken daughter, sons, sister Marie, daughters-in-law Kate, Carol and April, grandchildren Lee, Matthew, Ryan, Calum, Paul, Conor, Rodger, Mia, Adam, Freya and Harry, great-grandchildren Emily, Joshua, Paige and Kai, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and the entire family circle. “May she Rest In Peace.” “Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.”
