It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Duddy néé Callaghan, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 24th January 2025.

Late of 24 Fergleen Park. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of Jimmy. Devoted mother of Paul, Sean and Clare. Dearest mother-in-law of Paula and Eugene. Loving granny of Stephen, Caileigh, Orla, Emer, Ethan, Abigail and Amelia. A much loved great-granny of Niah, Rowan, Reagan, Tiernan and Aogán. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Jean’s remains will be reposing at her late family residence, 24 Fergleen Park from 5pm tomorrow, Saturday 25th January. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday 28th January at 10:20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
