DUFFY John Joseph, Aughatubrid, Gleneely, Co. Donegal and latterly of Larkhill, Derry, peacefully at Oakleaves Nursing Home, Racecourse Road, Derry.

Beloved husband of Claire Duffy (née McColgan) and much loved father of Noel (Linda), Beatrice (Liam), Geraldine (Barry), Martina (Paul), Alan (Teresa), Dolores and Declan (Orla).

Devoted Granda of Sophia, Zoe, Orla, Emer, Oisin, Cara, Aoife, Lara, Ciara, Erin and Fiadh and Great-Granda of Eloise and Jacob. Predeceased by his sister Mary and his brother Charlie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brother Pat and his sisters Bridie (Bridget), Peggy and Sadie, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours. May John Rest In Peace.

John’s remains will repose at the home of his son, Alan, at 5 Steelstown Road, Derry (BT 48 8EU) from 4.30pm – 9pm today (Sunday) and tomorrow (Monday) from 12pm to 9pm where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

The family home is private on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral from there on Tuesday (October 6th) at 9.30m for 10am Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown (11 Steelstown Road, Derry BT 48 8EU) followed by burial in St Mary’s Church, Bocan (Gleneely, Co. Donegal F93 PW57)
