FAMILY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and Months Mind Mass

As the family of the late Edward (Eddie) McGurk, late of East London (Evishbrack), we would like to give thanks and appreciation to family, friends, neighbours and all those who sympathised, offered help and been supportive during our recent bereavement.

Special thanks to Colm and Patricia McNamee & all the family for their help and support throughout dad’s illness and final days and for the continued support they provide.

We would like to thank Father Paddy Hughes for his advice and sympathy prior to and during the funeral service.

Thanks also to the Eucharistic Minister for their help and guidance.

Thanks to the people who said readings during the service.

Our sincere gratitude and thanks go to the carers who attended Dad (Eddie) during his illness- namely Rhys, Orvi and Frank (all from the In Home Care team, Essex).

Thank you to Jackie Fox and pianist for providing music, which beautifully accompanied the funeral service

Thanks also to Noeleen Brennan for arranging the beautiful flowers for dad.

We would also like to extend thanks to Raymond and Clare at the Mill Wheel pub for providing the room and catering/refreshments after the service

Thank you to K M Quinn Funeral Directors for bringing Eddie home. Their professionalism, guidance, and knowledge was greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Aiden at Party Town for providing the Marquee for the wake.

Thanks and appreciation to the hard work of the grave diggers who got the grave ready for the service.

Thank you for all the mass/sympathy cards and flowers the family have received.

Lastly thank you to all the people who called in to see Eddie during his wake. It was so nice to hear all the kind words about him. Also thanks to the people who attended the moving of the body from the funeral directors to the wake.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as an expression of our sincere appreciation.

Eddie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 20th 2024, at 6.30 in St Mary’s Church, Dunamore.
