never really ends, but goes on forever
in the hearts of those who remember.

Eileen’s family and friends will observe her first anniversary in St. John’s Church, Galbally on Friday May 19th at 7:30pm.

The family of the late Eileen Rafferty nee Mc Veigh (wife of the late Barney Rafferty Gortindarragh) wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement of our loving, caring mother.
We would like to convey our appreciation to our family, friends and neighbours for all the help and support throughout the wake providing the tea, brought food to the house, and to everyone who sent Mass cards and messages. We would like mention a special word of thanks to everyone who assisted with the preparation of mums everlasting resting place.
We would also like to thank First Responders and Ambulance Service and Craigavon Area Hospital, the staff of Parkview Surgery Dungannon, Boots Chemist Market Square Dungannon and all the district nursing team who cared for mum.
Much appreciation to Caiomhe Loughran and Rory Madden for the beautiful singing at mums funeral Mass and to Stephen Mallon for the beautiful floral arrangements.
Heartfelt thanks to Kate McAleer and all the undertakers for their dignified and caring manner when dealing with the funeral arrangements.
We would also like to thank Galbally Community Centre for the use of their equipment over the wake, the use of their facilities and to to Quinn’s Corner for providing the food. Also many thanks to all who helped out with the funeral Dinner
We are eternally grateful to Fr. David Moore and Fr. Breslin for all the help and support throughout mums wake and for celebrating the funeral mass.
Also, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Brian Fitzpatrick who attended Mum in hospital.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement  will be accepted by all with our sincere thanks.  Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Eileen’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St John The Baptist Church Galbally on Friday 17th June at 7:30pm.

Rafferty (Galbally) 18th May 2022, peacefully at Craigavon Hospital surrounded by her loving family, Eileen (née McVeigh) dearly beloved wife of the late Barney RIP.  Cherished mother to Christopher, Mairead (Shiels), John, Martin, Rosemarie (Kelly), Eamon, Breeda, Patricia (McGuckin) and Loretta and mother-in-law to William, Nora, Yvonne, Frank, Ethna and PJ.

Much loved sister to Mary (Gaynor), Bridget (McGurk), Teresa (McKeown), Ben and the late Paul, Sean, Margaret (Swift), Rosie (McNally) and Kathleen (McKeown) and precious babies lost in infancy RIP.

Doting grandmother to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Beloved daughter of the late John and Annie McVeigh (Camaghy)

Eileen will repose at home 64 Gortindarragh Road, Gortavoy, BT70 3DX until removal Saturday for 3pm Requiem Mass at St. John’s Church Galbally, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.

Very deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brother, entire family circle, neighbours and friends.

There is a bus service provided from Tally’s car park to the wake house from 9:30pm tonight and from 1pm tomorrow afternoon.  Please avail of the bus service to avoid congestion on the road.
