In loving memory of a dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother who died 7 December 2021.

We don’t need a special day to bring you to our minds, The days we do not think of you are very hard to find. Our lives go on without you, but things are not the same. It’s hard to hide the heartache when someone speaks your name. Your memory is our keepsake with which we will never part, God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.

Always remembered and loved by your daughters, sons, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and wider family circle.

Lil’s Anniversary Mass will be celebrated at 7.30pm on Friday 9th December in St Mary’s Church, Loughmacrory.

We the family of the late Elizabeth (Lil) McElduff wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised and supported us during our sad bereavement.  We are so grateful to all our relatives, neighbours and friends who were there at the arrival and removal of the remains and who joined us at the funeral mass, those who lined the funeral route or joined us via webcam.  Sincere thanks to everyone who helped us throughout the wake and for bringing and cooking food. Also those who helped directing traffic and parking cars.

The family would especially like to thank Father O’Neill for his spiritual guidance especially during Mum’s final days and for the beautiful Funeral Mass.

We the family would also like to thank Three Rivers Nursing staff for Mum’s initial care. We would also like to thank Slieve Na Mon Nursing Home who cared for Mum with great professionalism in her final days.

Thanks to Justin McGurk for the beautiful music and singing which made Mum’s Mass so special.  A special word of thanks to John Donaghy Funeral Director for the sensitive and dignified way he conducted Mum’s Funeral Arrangements and all the help and support he gave us as a family.

We would also like to thank the sacristan and grave diggers.  Those who travelled any distances. Those who sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this will be taken as a understanding of our gratitude and appreciation to all.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The Mass for Lil’s Months mind will be celebrated on Friday 7^th January 2022 at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church Loughmacrory.
